The News 9/2/08 :: 8:30 pmAlright! So it's been like two months since I even looked at this site. I know, I know, I'm a terrible, horrible person. You can tell me that. But it's not as if people actually come to look at this place, right? Well, just in case anyone does find the need to come here, I made a new layout! Which is much better than my old one, if you'd care to ask my opinion. Anyway, I hope everyone likes it. I'll be adding little updates to the site itself in a few days, by the way. Clearing out some old stuff, and all that jazz. Time to get this baby up and running for real this time!
So what have I been doing all summer that's kept me from doing responsible things like updating this site, you ask? Well, I went on a two week vacation with my dad, and stayed with my best internet friend ever: Delaney! She totally rocks. We stayed with her for a whole week, and totally had a blast. We even went to Forks and stuff, since she lives in Washington! How cool is that!? Everything else on the trip was rather bleh, but I did get to see Wicked live in LA! Pretty spiffy stuff, right? Then, of course, there was Dragon*Con this weekend. I met Michael Rosenbaum! Yes, folks, he totally did touch me. He's a really sweet guy, y'know? And then I got to see Grant Wilson, from TAPS again. He remembered me and hugged me, and officially grounded my father for not being able to come to D*con this year. He's supposed to be emailing me some pictures he took of us a few years ago, so if I get those, I'll post them here.
For those of you who might be interested in what I'm reading right now, I'll just go ahead and list the books that are worth mentioning!
Bread Givers - This was an okay book. I read it for school.
Night - Also for school, but I definitely recommend reading it. I cried like a baby over it!
The Abhorsen Trilogy - Absolutely fucking brilliant. DO IT. Read it right now.
Breaking Dawn - Ew. Need I say more?
Oedipus Rex - Oh hells yes. Sophocles, you are a genius and a god of literature!
So yes, that's pretty much the end of my huge rant on basically nothing. The Dark Knight is obviously one of my favorite movies right now. Worth watching if you haven't seen it. Go! Right now! Anyhow, talk to you guys later!
